It's not a Nia-Icon unless she uses her most overused icon texture ever; THE LITTLE RED SPLOTCH.

No seriously, it really is my dirty little icon M.O.

And I don't just have one. I HAVE SEVERAL. One for every icon placement I can possibly think of. There are 10, all of them in different positions.. and if there's not a position I need, I can flip it, rotate it and FIND a place to put it.

But an icon just doesn't look right to me unless I put what equates to 'my signature' on it.

I made a Thor/Loki icon so now I need to find good lyrics for the icon.

If you look at my icons page, I have lyrics for EACH icon that fit what pretty much inspires me when I am making the icons and/or remind me of the pairings involved. Icon making is a personalized process for me.

Don't really make text icons because I can never figure out text. -_-

I'm like the complete opposite - text is my forte, graphics alone make me tear my hair out. XD

Yeah, the thing is that it's hard for me to figure out text.. just the placement and how to make it good as if it belongs on the icon. I mean I don't have that problem with other things in all honesty (you have no clue how it's difficult with the zodiac and trying to make the sign blend into the overall design). But yeah, I'm so much better at 'a picture ='s a thousand words' type.

Heh, I used to be very guilty of the little red splotch (and probably still will be whenever I start iconning again), it adds a subtle flare of sorts~

It's a pretty snazzy eyedraw. It allows you to get to the front of center of where you what the viewers eyes to go. There are a few icons that I don't use it with, but mainly that's when the colours are so vibrant that I don't need it.
