Thought I made it clear now--

Thank you all for choosing numbers, it helps me with 'what to icon'. My folder is overflowing and those are the icons I 'want' to icon, not the icons that I randomly decide to icon due to some challenge or the whatnot (though sometimes I do throw icons made from that folder into challenges, just because I love the picture and I think I could do great things with it). Next up on the list is Ike from Fire Emblem. A little bit about Ike being that for the longest time I RP'd him, so I have a great emotional connection to him.. so there is never a 'wrong' time to icon him. Him and Micaiah are my favorite fire emblem characters (of course followed by Lyon, because tortured by a demon, 'nice guy'-- and also the hair, which is one of my visual fetishes, right up there with glasses.)

Speaking of white haired guys who I have a crush on.

I think that my most enduring one is Magus Zeal from Chrono Trigger. Like there are characters who've come before him and after him (Setzer Gabbiani and Citan Uzuki specifically, but Setzer was like a fling-- and Citan was someone I wanted to be like, ahahaha.. that's like telling a Sigurd personality to learn quantum physics, really). Magus Zeal though, I still like write stories in my head regarding him, and every icon I do of him fails because it doesn't encompass exactly how he is in my head, and that is how I've made him so in my head--. I remember being forever disappointed that Synn took down her fanart site of him, because those pictures were amazing. But yeah, I'm still writing stories about him in my head-- I think it's been 25 years.

Main reason why I was also so disappointed in Chrono Cross because it took his end quest to rescue his sister and turned it into a FRUITLESS WASTE OF TIME. Like, he never succeeded and to me that is just the ultimate sadness, every day-- wandering through time and with no real payoff, unless you decide that maybe Serge was the reincarnated Magus or something-- but no, just no.

Maybe I will share my stories-- or maybe I will not, they are sorta private after all. Maybe just a snippet, in time. But Magus, don't know why I love him so much--

wow what a tangent I just went on. LOL

Call of the day on friday was this guy who thought Call Forwarding was the BEST THING EVER! Like, he was totally "How long have we been able to do this call forwarding thing!", and I was like "I don't know, but it sure was a great service" and then he was like "So you mean someone can call my work phone and I can have it forwarded automatically to my cellphone?" and I was like "Heck yea!" and-- I seriously felt like I was santa and it was crazy!great.

And then at the end, he told me that I was such an intelligent girl who definitely knew what I was talking about! Made up for EVERY SINGLE BAD CALL I'VE HAD UP TO THIS POINT!

That is exactly why I go back to work every day, for little moments like that--

'Paris' is back and that means I don't have to do her job as well as mine.

That's great because I have more time to get things done, and I don't have to worry about a lot of the things that I had to last week. Cage and Vault, nope-- not my concern. ACH, NOPE. I am sure that my appetite will come back too, oh I hope so-- because last week I ate like a bird, and while I did tear into my dinner on friday night, the highlight was the drinks that I had which kept me pretty buzzed and not as inclined to overkill it on the foodage.

Saturday, the husband took me for my favorite type of food-- Thai! (Oh yes, I could probably subsist on thai food permanently).

This week I am off on friday which means Icons will be made and fics will be read (I am looking at you alterimpulse). Also I have to do some things in FFXIV, like grinding for that hair in HoH. I NEED IT. On saturday is also dick around on games day, but sunday is Breakfast and State fair-- and then after that but a few more weeks until BEACH VACATION in which I try to transfer all my salt to the beach, where it belongs. Hopefully I will come back from vacation considerably less salty then when I started it.

But seriously, I'm like a kitten right now--

Aside from wanting to strangle some people through email-- but hey that's par for the course, you are going to get DUMB people who are allowed to have email addresses and who do not know our exact protocol. (It's big pharma-- of course there is protocol, there are PAGES of protocol)

Hopefully y'all are having a great monday, I know I can't complain.

In the past couple of days (or perhaps even the past week) we've had an influx of new people to Dreamwidth (way to go LJ, screwing it up-- and after all the great memories that were had, dumb ass russia TOS) so welcome, to all the new friends that I've met on the addme group! (and it's anime subgroup), it's nice to meet many and all of you, and I hope that we shall all be happy friends together!

A brief little introduction-- my name is Nia-- I did my time on LJ from 2001 - 2012 and then I broke up with my ex-girlfriend and just couldn't stand being in that venue anymore, so I moved to DW and have been sort of going back and forth here, fluctuating between periods of activity and inactivity-- this current influx of activity is in part due to an anxiety disorder that I sort of am now realizing is a bit of a problem (I would like to say that it was never there, but I know that I've been using periods of escapism in order to push it under the carpet, not a thing that has been healthy in my life). I am predominately a reader and a gamer (mostly JRPGs, though I've had forays into western styled RPGs when the mood arrives-- I used to make tons of icons, but then I realized that I'm much happier when I make a few icons here and there, and I used to write fics about video games, but well I've lost those voices in my head (or probably a better word is that I have the voices not be so deafening)

So I'm not artsy, I don't watch as much anime as I used to and I ramble-- a lot. I love books, history, cats-- I am just an agnostic, slytherin ENFP with a love for pop and romance novels, who is probably married to my PS4 (much to my boyfriend's chagrin-- but he has no room to complain, he can binge watch entire seasons of reality TV quite happily). Him and myself are currently house-hunting for the perfect house, for our two cats and a kitchen big enough that I can do all sorts of cooking experiments of doom (I can make some badass chocolate chip cookies though)

Looking at my tags I went; why don't I have an Asbel Lhant RP journal. Well now I do.. it's talesofyourmom. It stems from the fact that when Asbel fights, one of his favorite things to say to enemies when he unleashes a particular skill is 'your mom!'. Just in case you wanted to know, yeah.. random Tales geekery.

I unboxed my Tales of Xillia 2 Collector's Edition. Haven't gotten a chance to play the game (ugh, work) but oh what sweet sweet loot. It came with a Ludger will Kresnik figure (nicely detailed), it also came with the pocket watch from in game. a little cat plush (evidentally the Tales cutsey character) and a really awesome hardbound artbook. There is also the steelbook casing (which is going to be on display and a CD of the music of the game.

Friday will be my day to play it, and oh it's almost there. I cannot wait! I think there may be a peeking into Cheddars but really other then that, wine, snacks and Tales of Xillia 2! EXCITING!
