REAL LIFE STABS ME!

I have a boyfriend now and hence it's been a long long long time since I have done anything with this journal; I just thought I'd sort of pop in and give everyone a friendly little update. (But it might not equate to much since I have sort of grown ill-used to expressing myself fannish wise in a logical way where people can understand me *ok, like that has ever happened ANYWAYS-- we all know I have the attention span of a gnat.)

I am still riding the Tales ship strong and I am enjoying Zestiria-- then there is FFXIV which has been a yearly obsession for me (despite all drama and guilds and whatevehs). Oh but I've also got into other fandoms that I wouldn't have if NOT for my boyfriend-- Dexter, One Tree Hill, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and dare I say WWE Diva Wrestling (ikr? who would of thunk it?)

I sort of want to come back and do icons and all those things but I wouldn't even know where to start. I know that I think that I've sort of finally realized that it's just not in my heart to RP anymore-- especially not when I am too busy loving me and my life. I finally have someone who doesn't mind that I am a festering cosmic supernova of enthusiasms and ideas ready to burst at any given moment and that just makes me happy. He doesn't want to catch up with me, he understands that I need my 'yaybees and rainbows' in order to feel alive. And he certainly doesn't want to change that about me.

(even though he thinks that I have a problem with logic-- it's okay, I know I do too.)

Time to embrace being me all the while enjoying a relationship that grows me and doesn't make me feel stifled. SO HAPPY!

I finally picked up Zestiria yesterday and can't wait to play it!

It's such a good game. I was surprised by how much I love it! <3 It has a very arthurian legends feel-- I love the tribute to names like Le Fey, LadyLake, Morgause, Igraine, Bors. It's really just brilliant!

I loved Zestiria! Haven't done much fan fiction at all the last couple of years, but this game has me on the fence for once; I kind of want to.

Glad to hear life is good. That boyfriend sounds like a keeper.

There is a lot of people who have had reservations about the whole Zestiria deal but really I think that it's just not what they are used to-- I actually really like the characters and the plot. It's something that really hasn't been done yet, where half of your party is really made up of spirits that only you (and your squire) can see.

He is a keeper-- I'm proud to have him!

Yes, he is-- I enjoy him quite a bit. He makes me laugh and he's incredibly down to earth. Really, guys like him are pretty rare! (he also looks a little bit like Wil Wheaton.)

Long time no read!

I played FFXIV for a while and the bf has said good things about Zestiria, but I don't have time to try it yet. XD Glad to hear things are going great with the bf! It's always good to have a partner you can fangirl and enthuse about things at.

I agree, and as for FFXIV-- well it's one of those things that I am pretty much caught up with endgame, the moment I let things go is the point at which I stop playing it. (and right now is the relic grind, oh gods-- it's painful).

Time is hard to get! Pretty much my time day is Sundays which is pretty much catch up. It's good though because the video games that I do play-- well, all I need to do is make sure I am caught up to the next game (Tales and FFXIV). I'm glad you are doing well, what's been up in your world?
