First item of note: I would just like to say how very very very very happy I am that VIC MIGNOGNA is FINALLY getting held accountable for his actions. As someone who has a friend that was sexually assaulted by him, and my best friend ALSO has a friend that was sexually harassed by him as well-- it's a long time coming. (for those of you who do not know who Vic is, he is/was a popular voice actor that is known for his voice as Edward Elric among other things. It's about time that he's being held accountable for his actions-- and getting tossed out of big name projects (looking at you RWBY) because now is not the time to let trash get away with shit-- the even worse things that he was sexually harassing girls (and some guys) and all the while he was also using his VA platform to Proselyte about Christ. Sorry Vic, but loving Jesus and wanting to see others love Jesus doesn't excuse you from 'decent behavior'. My heart also goes out to all the people that were inappropriately touched by that jackass as well.

I have been slacking on the icons thing, as well as a few other things-- probably because of VESPERIA~ (added note: I've seen everyone post their ADVENTURES IN KINGDOM HEART LAND and now I want to play the game-- never finished the first game, but I definitely can see myself playing the game-- maybe when I get (hopefully) my taxes back.

So now I am gonna sit my arse down and do some icons! I have a queue which I am gonna vigorously attack~ Woohoo! Hopefully I will not be detracted by season 2 of Harlots on Hulu. *crosses fingers*

I am more productive than expected today! Apparently putting on a massive "MovieBob ranting about comic book movies" marathon is a good way for me to get stuff done? Who knew? Though it's no good for writing, only for sewing and such.

Yes, there is a huge war on facebook tho because someone decided to repost the article to a Tales of group with the word "WHY?" and there were people that commented that it is because he is trash who touches girls inappropriately. Then there was three types of guys, there was the 1.) feminist sjw screaming incel, 2.) the one who comments 'but did you file a police report?" and the 3.) "well he seemed like a nice guy when I met him so the accusations can't possibly be true."

No matter the whole "he was a nice guy to you but that doesn't automatically make him a nice guy to everyone else"

Yuck yuck yuck. I say if he was nice to you, it means you got away lucky. What was creepy was Vic was at Realmscon (my local anime/fantasy/comics con) one year, before I heard about the allegations. DDD: Thankfully, he wasn't there last year, so there's hope Realmscon caught wind of him and banned him for good.

I'm also glad to see Vic get kicked around...

It's frustrating because people our age have known for so long, but no one was listening. Venues were still booking him, he was still getting jobs, and not every fan/cosplayer was willing to listen. I have many friends who were affected by his behavior (in varying degrees, some assaulted, some harassed, some crept on, etc) that it's hard to believe it's finally happening.

While it's justice for all of those people, it was long overdue and should have happened years earlier...

I'm also thinking of trying Kingdom Hearts this year. Two of my dearest friends are super into it so I'd like to share it with them.

I had a friend who did actually file a police report but it got dismissed BECAUSE he was a big wig at the con. Try telling that though to a bunch of incels, and it's not going to work-- there will be still people screaming, "but he was nice to me.. he couldn't of done it". Ugh.

Yeah, I just keep seeing all these posts about Kingdom Hearts 3 and that makes me want to play, however also I realize I have a lot on my plate at this time so I can't possibly attack any and every game that I want.

Best to tackle it at a time when you have the opportunity to give it the love and attention you want to devote to it. It's a series a lot of people are passionate about and many of these people have waited such a loooong time.

It's the same for me with DMCV here in March. I waited a long time to see what happened to Nero and while they gave us a whole other game, it wasn't... related at all to what we had and just felt so disconnected from the series. I'm happy to have a true sequel.

That's awful what happened to your friend, btw. It sucks that people with that kind of power were able to go by for so long. Everyone always said it was jealousy and gods, the craziest were the girls who should have supported the victims going on about how they wish it happened to them. Like WTF??

Haha, I picked up KHIII but so far I haven't had the chance to try playing it since I have to focus on other titles for my review work over at RPGFan now (one of which I really can't talk about yet, but I am so excited I get to write about it for the site later! :D). It's been really fun seeing everyone talking about their adventures though, and makes me look forward to whenever I can play it later on too. :) Woot for playing Vesperia and having fun with that game too! :D

It has been a long time coming and it is only what he deserves. Good thing is that now he cant get away with it. Some people on Facebook however is like "he was nice to me.. he couldn't possible be guilty" most of them are men of course.

I am at the part where Raven and Estelle disappear together which is a plot key to Raven's identity.. and for that part I have Flynn in my party hurrah

God, I feel you about Vic Mignogna. I think it's really telling that pretty much none of the VAs he's worked with have made any attempt to defend him, and also that he's been complaining about being the target of malicious rumors for over a decade and has STILL somehow never seen fit to change his inappropriate behavior. All the dudes defending him on every single article I've read are making me physically ill though.
