So I think that I had forgotten how much I really really love Xenogears. Thanks to 'new friend' for reminding me of all the silly crack and stuffs

All the years-- ALL. THE. YEARS.

That was a good seven years of my life spent wallowing in the fandom. But oh it was a golden age-- and while I do love many different series-- I have a soft spot for the Xeno series, and all the friends I have made THAT ARE STILL WITH ME are completely lovely.

I really need to show you the picture that the creator of Sigurd, Soraya Saga drew me-- she's on Deviant art and she drew me a picture of Sigurd/Citan, and she also drew my friend Atma a picture of Chaos from Xenosaga. Now if I can find it, I think it's favorited. It was like a god from heaven came down to visit me lol

I've replayed the game a couple of times in the past few years to show various friends the majesty of it, and every time I'm reminded that Big Joe and the Captain of the Thames exist as characters, Fei and Chu-Chu's love is real, and Bart once won a battle by jamming a cannon inside of another cannon.

Which is to say yeah, there's some beautiful crack in there.

Some of the quotes from that game were pure gold to, like Fei's, "My father? You mean my dad?" and Citan's "Sacked Saccules"

This is one of those games I keep wanting to replay but have a really hard time finding the 65 hours I'd need to do it.

That and I want to do it in Japanese this time. I really want to know what "My father? You mean my dad?" was originally.

When the rest of the game has been forgotten, that and "Chu-chu died for our sins" will still be remembered.

Agh, Xenogears! I miss this (and Xenosaga) so much. I haven't played it in five or so years, which I imagine is a shorter time than most who grew up with it, but I have fond memories from the game. Elly and Bart were two of my favorites, and still are. I wish Bart was getting a new figure along with Fei and Elly.

(Sorry for the random appearance, and post on a 2 week old entry. I just recently got back into Dreamwidth after being gone for two years and saw Xenogears, so I had to say something! I'm not even sure if you remember me. ^^; )

I definitely like Elly too But really I don't think there is any character In Xenogears That I truly hate ...Even the antagonists were rendered beautifully And unfortunately I haven't found a video game that I have loved as much as than a gears Though tales of graces Comes really close

That's true. I think I liked almost everyone in some way. Well, except for maybe two characters... They're rather common answers, but Chu-Chu and Dan. Okay, never mind, at this point they're both such memes that maybe I don't -dislike- them. I just like them for different reasons than other members of the cast.
