So today I did a lot of FFXIV. This is mainly because I'm a flake and can only be arsed to come online in the game when there is a new patch, I know that a patch drops soon as well as a new raid, so this weekend I took the time to get myself geared up. I managed to scrape together two pieces of gear from Sigmascape AND I got the Kefka minion drop. I really liked Sigmascape because of all the nods to Final Fantasy VI (my favorite FF of all time). I mean the Phantom Train, Jiddoor Art Gallery, The Guardian and then Kefka, hot damn-- win all around. I did some crafting and I even found a nice MEDIUM PLOT that is now mine (and in Lavender Beds no less, my smol house was in the Goblet, and I'm so over the desert--). three floors to do exactly what I want with, I want to turn this into a proper home in all honesty. Bedroom and private sitting room and/or bathing room up top, perhaps kitchen and living room on the first floor, and then library and workroom in the cellarage.

The hardest part is getting the theme down really.

Watched some more Voltron: Legendary Defenders and while I couldn't see Lance/Keith-- I sort of saw a glimpse of it, and so I can 'see' it now. I am still not sold on it, but I don't have to be-- I will formulate my own pairings in time and it will be all good in the hood. (But I can't help it, I do want to see Lotor-- my pinterest is now full of pictures of him and I haven't even gotten to the part where he is in the series-- but oh the icons I shall make)

This week will be a difficult week for me-- however I can do this, I know that I can. *crosses fingers* And then only a few weeks til my next four day weekend in which I think Owen and I are making plans to go to the Cincinnati Zoo.

I've not played FFXIV since it was an online game, and I tend to get sucked into the kinds of games where you grind for levels, but oh man. You get to build houses too? I love crafting and building in games. That sounds like a lot of fun. XD

Well you can buy houses, and craft the furniture for it-- and the crafting system is very good-- you can gather and then you can craft. I mean the game has a very engaging plot, really awesome dungeons and it would definitely suck you in especially if you like crafting

Nothing wrong with getting caught up before a patch. I didn't do any of the pre-reqs that I should have and am scrambling to do the new stuff... ahh, well that sort of thing happens. I'm enjoying the scenery along the way though so I hope you're able to as well.

I do want to watch VLD, but the fandom is really scary. I see a lot of it cross over into Fire Emblem fandom on Twitter, and boy... those are some nasty call out posts they do.

Lotor looks amazing from what I have seen of him. +_+

Oh, I so want to play FFXIV at some point...I really enjoyed my time with FFXI before internet connectivity issues back in the day forced me to quit, and now I am just not sure I'd ever have enough time to properly get into another online RPG. But it looks so good, and I so love the plots and characters I have seen for it! The nods they do to past games really has me quite curious and excited too: I was downright giddy when I heard about/saw the FFIII and Ivalice Alliance ones...and the FFVI ones seem so very, very awesome too. :)

...Not to mention, I am a sucker for customizing homes and the like in games. I am totally blaming that on all the decorations you could do your HQs in the Suikoden series, but I always get a little starry-eyed when I see that implemented in titles now. Your new plot/house sounds like it will be very fun to customize and I am digging your design plans! :D

Ah, you have pretty much summed up my thoughts on potential pairings in Voltron: Legendary Defender quite nicely! I saw a bit of a glimpse of Lance/Keith too so I can 'see' it now as well, but I am pretty much of the mindset that "whatever will be, will be" and I will just formulate/like pairings as I watch more seasons and bonds/interactions start developing and happening more amongst the various characters. And it shall all be good. ♥

Hopefully you will get the chance to see Lotor soon! He is a very fascinating character in quite a few ways. :D

C: *eye roll* You take on too many quests..
M: There can *NEVER* be enough quests!!!
