In return I'll ask you something-- it may be silly or serious-- all depending! After you have answered my question, you can feel free to ask your own-- and you can do it until one or both of us gets tired!

Hopefully I'll get to know a lot of you better and vice versa

Currently reading "Waiting for Wednesday" by Nicci French. It's the third in the series about a psychologist that gets pulled into solving murder mysteries from the perspective of the mind, how danger always seems to follow her and the conflict between catching the criminal and wanting to help them. In this one, the mother of a seemingly perfect, wholesome family is murdered and she helps out, but is plagued by troubles from the previous books. You'd think the world has it out for poor Frieda.

Another question if I may? Favourite games at the moment?

Well I actually don't have a favorite game atm, I still have to beat Tales of Beseria and pick up FFXV again, but then I know that when June rolls around, I'm going to be wanting to play FFXIV: Stormblood-- so far though I've just been doing tons of reading and watching some anime-- maybe I will get some game playing done this sunday-- who knows (I hope so!)

And that sounds like an interesting book-- I am not really mysteries but I think the psychological aspect of it would probably be very interesting!

I'm seriously into a three-way between FFXV, Persona 5 and Tales of Beseria right now. It's very hard, so much gaming to do, so little time to do it. Especially since my girlfriend is ALSO playing those games and we take turns playing our save files. :P

It is. I'm hoping to have them read, so I can be up to date when the last seventh book comes out.

What is your favorite JRPG and why?

There will always be a part of me who is intensely fond of Xenogears. I have played many JRPGs before then but none dealing with those issues of faith. Being a college kid when that came out and having been brought up in a sort of conservative household, those issues were mind blowing! And you?

Also if you could be destroyed by any of HP Lovecrafts beasts.. who would you choose?

Despite all the Final Fantasy I played back in the day, it's probably Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky. I'm much more interested in character-focused political thrillers than battles to save the world from evil gods of death nowadays, as much as I have a residual love for FFVI and FFX.

Still have Second Chapter sitting in my Steam list...I really should get to that now that Third Chapter is coming out on PC...

(I have a bit of a grudge against Xenogears for its lazy appropriation of Judaism, but more against Square for pulling funding to make FFVIII. Not that FFVIII is bad, but what with Disc 2, think of what could have been...)

Hmm...probably a dimensional shambler. Being yanked into another dimension gives me good odds of arriving somewhere Planck's Constant is different and spontaneously ceasing to exist or something, which sounds a lot less painful than being eaten by ghouls or having my brain stuck in a jar by mi-go.


If you had unlimited money for 24 hours, but the source dried up after that, what would you buy?

You know, I loved Trails in the Sky too! I thought it was a wonderful game, I also liked how it wasn't about supernatural stuff-- but the poltical stuff was amazing, it was a more cozy less ensemble cast version of the first couple of Suikodens, but with much more required reading (and the chest texts-- brilliant)

I started 2nd Chapter, I need to finish it up-- and I will probably end up getting Trails in the Sky: 3rd on steam too, because the series is that good!

I cry when I think about what Xenogears 'could've' been-- oh well,

As for that question-- I'd buy a really nice house, one that both Owen and I would love-- I am taking it for granted that it being fantasy money, the house could be paid for instantly.

One of the parts I liked a lot, too...and I read somewhere that in Japanese they're all the same but each chest had its own line rather than all calling the same generic text, so during localization they got the idea to add unique messages. Best decision.

I am actually a bit disappointed with 2 because most of the chest texts were the same-- but I think I read that they remedied it for 3rd--

If you could change into an animal for a day, what would you change into and why?

I would want to change into a cat.. and do it the day after memorial day. That way I can nap all day and avoid work.. call in cat! Though I think if I was a cat, the all day nap time would be addictive

What was your favorite place to visit?

Oh, the all day nap time would definitely be addictive! ♥

My favorite place to visit would probably be Belgium. I went there once with my family during school, and it was just a really nice country to visit. :) I loved the town that we stayed in primarily.

Okay, next question! :) What would you say is your favorite CLAMP series you've been exposed to? ♥

I think it would have to be RG Veda, I mean-- there are two types of Clamp series, the very lighthearted series and then the fucked up series-- RG Veda falls into the latter catagory, there is something wrong about it-- and it really does give a solid precursor to X, there are villians who you actually are rooting for and pairings that are d'awww inducing-- and the end, wow the end-- so poignant! I love it!

I used to go by Jyuufish on LJ-- but then me and my ex-girlfriend split, since we had matching names (I was jyuufish and she was shufish), I decided to go the route of that, because that was always my favorite part of that song!

What's the silliest tag you've come up with for DW, and what's the story behind it?

THIS IS A VERY VERY DIFFICULT QUESTION!

Most of my tags come from my very prolific run on LJ, and most of the tags I created was due to fandom things that occured to me--

I think that my favorite would have to be "Maria Sama Watches You, so make it Kinky"-- the story behind it was that I was once apart of a user community on LJ entitled "Souer System", it was a community that was highly interactive and patterned after the anime "Maria-sama ga Miteru", a very slow and boring anime about lesbians in a catholic school who form families of three and pretty much make touching high school girl promises in front of a statue of Maria-sama. (hence "Maria-sama ga Miteru" translates to 'Mary is Watching You"-- creepy, I know)

Lesbians-- Mary watching-- well you might as well make a show out of it!

My sense of humor has never been totally 'right'

Who's your favourite and least favourite Trails characters and why?

Well my favorite has got to be Tita Russell, I have always been rooting for the precocious children-- usually the ones who have contributed something to civilization either artistically or technology-- I mean for example Maria Balthazer from Xenogears, Tita, Sophie from Tales of Graces-- Relm from FFVI-- and when I saw Tita for the first time wandering in that tunnel, I was like "awwww a lil' genius!" I like the lil genius's--

Least favorite is Sheherazade-- I thought she was a decent character, but she didn't stand out too much to me

What is your single most favorite food?

Well this sort of changes-- because I am a flighty individuals-- somehow along the way, I also manage to ruin myself for food of choice because I overindulge--

Currently it is toaster sandwiches from White Castle; I actually hated White Castle for the longest time, until I realized that they had more then those horrible little nausea inducing sliders. And their breakfast toaster sandwiches tastes like if I actually had time to make them before going in to work!

Do you like frappuccinos? If so, what's your favorite kind?

I do-- I actually have a weakness for McDonald's chocolate chip frappe-- while I like Starbucks, sometimes my budget isn't starbucks (because let's face it, liking anime and video games is not CHEAP) I haven't tried the Unicorn Frappe, I am a bit daunted by that though, and I heard that it has a sour sort of taste for it, which is wierd for me.

Do you have any pets? Tell me about them! If you don't, then tell me if you could have a pet, which kind would you want?

Ooh, McDonald's chocolate chip frappe is really good! And yeah, I know what you mean about Starbucks not always being budget friendly. x.x; I didn't get the Unicorn frap either. Unfortunately, all the actual Starbucks locations nearby are either closed or located somewhere that my rides would never drive to, and while Target and Barnes&Noble serve Starbucks drinks, they don't serve EVERYTHING. Unicorn fraps aren't included in what they serve. :c (And yeah, I feel you on the whole "anime and video games are not cheap" thing. Especially with merch. When Dad found a clearance Sailor Moon figuarts at B&N a couple days ago, I almost died of shock. HAPPY HE DID, THOUGH- my first one broke and I needed a replacement!)

I do! I have five cats: Honey, Licker, Riku, Mara and Amu. Honey is the mother of the latter four. My mother was feeding her on the porch and she... ended up being preggers lmfao. So now we have them all. Mara is really aloof and hates everyone who isn't my Dad, so I don't see her much. Honey, Riku and Amu are sweeties, though Honey and Riku are pretty skittish. LICKER, however, is my baby. He loves me, and I love him. He will cuddle up to me and let me hold him under the blankets and stay like that for hours. He's my loyal boy. ;w;

What are some of your favorite bands?

Awwww I love it when cats claim you! I have a cat who is pretty much just my boyfriend's-- L.I.T.A, but D.I.T.A is my little girl, she loves me pretty much exclusively-- she's my little cat snake (because she's small, fast and quick)-- she also eats cabbage, which makes her fart-- a lot

Also so glad you got the Sailor Moon figurats, those things are difficult to find and they tend to break so easily if you're not careful!

I am a pop fangirl first and foremost, I love britpop especially-- My favorite band of all time is Take That (I have a tattoo of their band symbol on the back of neck which I guess makes me fandom secret trash lol), but I also like Katy Perry, Lorde, Duran Duran, Melee, Coldplay, Keane-- I think though that it's easier to say what I don't like, and that's hardcore rap and country music, everything else I'll pretty much listen to!

A cat that eats cabbage? That's wild. Then again, I've had a cat that ate blueberry scones, so...

Yeah, seriously! I haven't had this problem with the other figuarts I have, thank god, but that doesn't mean I'm not grateful to be able to buy a cheap replacement that isn't a bootleg. She's displayed next to my Super Sailor Moon now. :D

HAHAHA I too dislike most hardcore rap and country music! Of course, there's exceptions here and there, but...

I am alternate rock and nu metal trash through and through! Evanescence, KoRn, Ra, Linkin Park, Slipknot, Static-X, The Used, Muse, Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed... shit like that. I'm also really fond of stuff like Nightwish, and I adore Emilie Autumn's stuff. Big Queen fan as well, and I have a soft spot for Lady Gaga.

Ever had any weird RP ships? :3

I think that when I think of wierd-- I think of crossover ships-- there are only two that I really have, and because of the series-- it isn't that stretch of the imagination.

I ship Firion/Cloud from the Final Fantasy series-- I think it was mostly because of Dissidia but it is wierd because not very many people would think that is a viable ship (being the existance of Zack, Aerith, Tifa and Sephiroth which are the ones that are thrown at Cloud) but it's cute because Firion is reminiscient of Aerith in a way, what with the obsession with flowers and all.

The other is Duke from Tales of Vesperia, and Richter from Tales of Symphonia-- dawn of the new world.

Because they are both villians, because I can't see pairing up Duke with anyone who isn't really his equal, and because Richter would allow each other the space that they needed (and it was because I really wanted to pair up Duke with someone and couldn't figure out who, so that came to my brain and I was like 'aha"

I am pretty boring when it comes to pairings!

I LOVE Emilie Autumn, but I really like her earlier stuff-- I like her new stuff but it's less fairytale and more steampunk!

I like her earlier stuff as well, though I will admit that I'm the opposite of you: I prefer her newer stuff. Still, sometimes I'm more in the mood for one over the other, so it's nice to have a choice. :3

Not really reading anything at the moment, but I'm trying to work on getting my focus back so I can read some of the books my aunt has sent me over the years.

what's your favorite place that you have lived?

For the food, it would have to be Sault Ste Marie, Michigan-- it was a nice little city and there was all types of food-- you could get greek, irish pub food, seafood, cute little coffee deli's, bakerys, and some killer ass breakfast joints! And it was a four hour drive to Traverse City where they hold "Cherry Fest", my all time favorite cherry festival!

Seriously if the food is crap, I won't have fond memories of the place-- ask me about Springfield or Pikeville KY and I will make barfing noises!

Do you have a silly habit that you've carried over from childhood-- you know, that habit that sticks with you even after you've grown up? (I do! an example is that I play with my eyelashes when I'm nervous!)
