Due to the sheer ammount of political bullshit on facebook and the fact that it very well might give me an ulcer, I am going to try to gain happiness from fannish type pursuits. Seriously, it's getting to the point where kitties are not popping up on my feed, just anti-Liberal this, anti-Trump that, and it's hard for me to stomach it

In fact, the time when I mostly review Facebook, it's with a glass of wine in one hand.

This world makes me sad-- very sad, and the ENFP me in me cries tears of pain.

But man is this yellowtail sangria good.

I am so sorry that is happening. This has all been really hard for me to stomach as well, so I can totally understand why you want to try to gain happiness from fannish type pursuits at the moment. *hugs*

Well see I want to focus on happy things, but I have found that I feel overwhelmed by it all-- always. The influx of information and media has just left me sick and I don't know what to believe anymore, except that everything has gone to hell in a handbasket

Pinterest is good for cats with little politics. I signed up due to my girl liking it, and I've found it the least stressful of all the social media outlets. It also has the most cats without bullshit, lol.

I have noticed that pinterest is nice about that. I do like Pinterest but I also like social aspects, maybe I should commenting on people's pins or something like that lol.

It's nice to see you around fandom again (even though I know we didn't part on great terms years ago, and I was surprised to see you add me!). I hope things are going well for you, aside from the crushing political bullshit.

Hey, I remembered you! I didn't think you remembered me. I know what a snot back then I was, and it was the truth, I think I may have matured a little bit, but I don't know! I remember how much fun I had with you talking about Suikoden (which they seriously need to re-port-- I mean so many other games seem to be getting the up-and-ho.) But I hope that perhaps we can rekindle our friendship on new ground!

Of course I remembered one of the very few people I've been able to RP Xenogears and Suikoden with. >_>

Anyway, life is way too short to get worked up over decade-old drama, so for sure! (Also, pssst, if you didn't know about it: Suikoden II is re-ported to PSP/Vita/PS3.)

Exactly! And yeah, I will forever have a fondness for Suikoden I and II, and yes-- I actually have II for my Vita, and it's being played slowly but surely, along with my Legend of Heroes. There are just some games that really do stand the test of time and make you feel something-- I still get sniffles at certain parts of those games.
