12/5/18 09:21*cracks knuckles* Just got done doing some weeding and now i'm all sweaty and crap; I woke up at 8:30 because the cats were scratching at the door, and I know that they want human interaction, I went out to hang out with them for twenty minutes, then I got dressed and tried to tackle the garden. I am paying someone to do the main weeding, but I thought that I might as well get the small stuff around the flower beds done and there's no guarentee that I will be able to do anything tomorrow or all of next week-- so well, seize the day.
Now I am pondering uploading my Code Geass icons to![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
hiraethe; I have made it a habit to create a new icon for every fandom that I sort of upload, just to prove myself that I can get into the groove, which has worked surprisingly well. It also works with those small icons that I've only made like three icons for, one more makes four-- you see what I'm saying.
Yesterday I took my mother in law to a tea place, it was delicious-- we got a three tiered tray, the benadictine sandwhich was actually pretty amazing ( usually I hate cucumbers, but the sandwhich was nice and creamy and very light on the cucumbers ), and the vanilla caramel scone was amazing as well. The only thing that fell absolutely flat with me was the Mint Julep Creme Puff, that was a special sort of ick, it tasted like cream cheese, but there was no sugar or no mint, and it was supposed to be in the sweets catagory. I swear myself and my mother-in-law made the exact same face though I outrightly said "What the fuck is this?" (yes, real classy-- I know; I had an Eliza Doolittle moment there)
Then Owen took me and his mom to the Olive Garden in which the story of my life is that I am full before the main entree comes out (Oh breadsticks and salad, I love thee). Then I came home and took a five hour name, seriously I am ashamed of myself (which is probably the reason why I woke up so early), but it was otherwise a very productive thursday and friday-- now today and tomorrow I just want to laze around (with the exception of two hours tomorrow where I have to go into work)
