I tried to make an icon of my FFXIV character, Mat-- however it's horrible and I really did pick the WRONG background to pose it against, it turned out too sepia.. so now I HAVE TO SCREENCAPTURE HIM SOME MORE!

Well hell-- I hate it when a shitty background ruins my photo op.

Also maybe it's Mat's fault, he's a grumpy-puss.

Ulani might be chaotic evil and a bit sadistic, but at least she takes good pictures for icons.

I hope you can snag a good screencap soon!

Certain characters just seem to resist good screencapping, don't they? (Why, yes, I've been trying to get a screencap of some of Mei Changsu's excellent expressions. Somehow he's always doing something weird with his face when I screencap or pause the show! That, or his topknot has been cut off.)

I had this same problem with my FF character too. Mostly white gear + snowy Ishgard = not so good to work with!

I hope Mat cooperates with you in getting good screencaps!

See he has dark gear and is a dark Xaela so probably I need to put him IN Ishgard for the best picture, that actually occured to me whem I thought about it some more. I notice that you have to create that balance between dark and light
