Fingers crossed it's dancer and you get everything you want from it! I LOVED my dancer in FFXI. So much fun to play...

Yeah, well I think that if they do dancer, it may be healer-- but if it's a healer, I may pick it up. I would love DPS with support heals too. (What was the FFXI weapon, wasn't it knives?_\)

It was indeed daggers, but you spent so much time dancing, it mostly looked like your weapon was flailing dancey arms.

We also got a bunch of dance emotes out of Dancer's existence, which led to awesomeness like this.

I have so far managed to resist FFXIV, but the lure of dancer finally being added and the fact Aymeric would show up eventually... it's tempting.

In the trailer, the dancer looks super awesome-- and the weapons are 'chakrams', so now I am wondering what sort of type it is. And yes, Aymeric-- Aymeric-- he's a great part of FFXIV! <3

I hope you wanted DPS Dancer, because that's what you got! I'm sure it'll be fun though.

(I really hope another healer is announced/they announce they're tweaking the three we've got, it's been years since Astro...)

Honestly I would of played it if it was healer... I have never played (successfully) a healer straight to 70. I do like that it is support dps though and will have party bluffs as well as attac dances

I'm trying to get my hype back after no male viera and DPS dancer (I was hype for healer dancer), both of which were disappointing to me. :/

I really did not care what the role was.. I would of played a dancer regardless. I do agree that the game needs another healer class. I think a few people suggested that the hammer that gaia wielded might be for a new class then it could be a healer and I had to lol at that.

As for boy viera.. I wanted one too, however the scenary for the next game absolutely wow'd me. Like so beautiful! Like a feast for the eyes
