There comes a point where Sodia is very overbearing when it comes to Flynn and especially Yuri, it's like "OH MY GOSH SODIA, CALM DOWN!" I admire Sodia as a character archetype but I think that she is at the point in the game where she doesn't trust Flynn to take care of himself-- being assertive and take charge is awesome, giving Yuri evil cat eyes every time he so much as breathes in Flynn's direction-- not so cool.
as for characters, I RP'd Flynn, Raven and Estelle, Raven was the major person that I RP'd though-- when my ex girlfriend expressed her interest in Yuri/Raven, I made myself learn absolutely everything I could about him... of course from a character standpoint, I've always liked his type in pretty much any Tales game-- or at least the characters that fufill his role type. (edit: I also did RP Duke in a wierd crossover with Richter from Tales of Symphonia II)
