1.) Sakura Kinomoto | Card Captor Sakura (while I grew up with Sailor Moon, there will always be a special fondness for Card Captor Sakura)
2.) Sailor Neptune | Sailor Moon (She's a magical girl -and- a lesbian, I love that to death)
3.) Sayaka Miki | Puella Magi Madoka Magica (Her storyline parallels "the little mermaid" which is why I love her so much.
4.) Umi Ryuzaki | Magic Knight Rayearth (I tend to really like water aspects, it's a theme I guess)
5.) Shaolin | Mamotte Shugogetten (This is something I would of only known about if for my ex-husband. Such a good anime too, I think I have it on old VHS fansubs somewhere)

Women that I'd want to be friends with.. oh oh oh.

1.) Rydia | Final Fantasy 4 (I have always loved her smart mouth and I think that she is a very interesting character in and of her development.)
2.) Kristy Thomas | The Babysitters Club (When I was younger, I used to pretend that she was my friend anyways.. because back when I was in Jr High, I seriously didn't have very many friends)
3.) Leia Rolando | Tales of Xillia/2 (I just love her constant enthusiasm for everything and I think that she'd be hilarious to get into hijinks with.)
4.) Anne Shirley | Anne of Green Gables (She was always one of my favorite heroines and I think I would of had alot of really nifty adventures if I had been her friend.
5.) Belldandy | Oh My Goddess (Imagine, having a goddess for a friend, wouldn't that be amazing?)

1.) Mary Alsworthy | Pink Carnation series by Lauren Willig ~ She's not technically an empress though she does marry a duke in the end, I love how she's written because she is a vile piece of work and she manages to find a man who is a vile piece of work (but oh so hilarious) and they don't redeem each other at the end of the book, they just are vile pieces of work but in love. It's really cute, you'd have to read the book to find out.
2.) Ozma | The Oz Series by Frank L Baum. ~ Oh how I love the Oz series, and Ozma was definitely my favorite character in the entire series.
3.) Princess Elspeth | The Winds Series by Mercedes Lackey. | Yeah, she's headstrong and stubborn but that never stopped me from adoring her and my OC, Patricia Kirkland draws alot of inspiration from her.
4.) Estelle | Tales of Vesperia I can't forget my favorite princess in the tales-verse. She's sweet, intelligent and well fun, I've always loved her so I couldn't help but include her on the list.
5.) Snow White | Disney, Once Upon a Time etc Always loved Snow White, she's my favorite disney princess. So well she naturally makes it on this list!

1.) Schala Zeal | Chrono Trigger ~ there was a lot that wasn't said with her, I would of liked to have seen better development on her part. I know that they tried to redeem it with Chrono Trigger.
2.) Rosa Farrel | Final Fantasy IV ~ I think what killed me was toward the end how she was painted as -just- Cecil's girlfriend. I think though that she was more then that and I really wish that it was explored first in the game, or if there had been any sort of build up to her and Cecil's relationship.
3.) Odessa |Suikoden ~ Oh Odessa, how your light was extinguished quickly, I feel that she was merely the martyr and you didn't see what it was about her that Flik loved so much, in the second game you at least got that with Victor's love interest.
4.) Martha | Doctor Who ~ I feel like Martha got pretty much shafted, and I wish she hadn't. She was a lovely lovely character and I wish we could of seen more of it shine.
5.) Kitty Bennet | Pride and Prejudice ~ really all the Bennet sisters aside from Jane, Elizabeth and Lydia got shafted but Kitty who was the plainest of the bunch, well I feel like Jane Austen sort of dismissed her BECAUSE of that plainness.
