Current Projects-- holding area (so I can return back to the threads and subjects easily)

5 Retro Icons @ icontalking -- I am going to try to use retro textures when at all possible, but my subjects will be retro in nature-- I am thinking Retro Manga-- so you know that I will be making a few Rose of Versailles and Candy Candy icons. For all of you that don't know, icontalking is a very non-competitive iconning community, where the love of iconning is shared, if you want practice perfecting your icons but don't want to pit yourself against 10 million others, I highly suggest that you join this community. It's really lovely and run by phenomenal people.

So finally on FFXIV I made friends on the Mateus server. I attended an event and I launched myself into some peoples RP but they didn't mind-- and as I wasn't poaching (it was two guys flirting with each other), they allowed me in-- and of course I pretty much used that as an excuse that my character was already sort of 'shipping' them from overhearing the conversation-- coincidentally one of the characters also happened to be a MCH from Ishgard so hey, INSTA LINK, now my character has some friends and a potential backstory-- (I am a part of an FC on my other character, but all of the people who RP there are intimidating-- and I just can't get in the mood to RP with any of them-- I wish I could)

Also, I went shopping on saturday and bought myself a really cute Ursula handbag. It's my first grown up purse ever and so far I really really love it (ahahaha, I know-- 38 years old being happy about a first purse, but seriously the only bags I've had are satchels and backpacks.). I mean I feel grown up, but it's a funky disney purse so I feel like I retain that essence of being a kid at heart.

I wish I had more to ramble about but I don't.

I mean work is work-- it's the same and usual.
