Wow, it feels so nice to have internet back-- you guys can tell that I did because of the sheer amount of icons that I've made however the icons that have been made are the only ones I am doing for this weekend-- I think I've expelled some creativity and that's good but I wish I had worked on some icons for myself (450 icon spots will not fill itself up-- and I haven't seen any icons that I think represent me *which is why I make most of my own icons, because there's a little piece of my soul in each icon)
Owen and I went to a new pizza place, called Boombozz-- Owen was resistant for a little while, until he decided that he liked the Chicken Alfredo-- then he was all about boombozz (he made up this whole story about how him and Tony Boombozz were rivals in high school-- I won't go into the story about how I pointed out the lie-- needless to say Owen and Tony Boombozz did NOT go to high school at the same time), and while he thinks the chicken Alfredo is better there then at Olive Garden, really the thing going for Olive Garden is the breadsticks and salad.
We went to Half Priced books where I bought way too many Regency Romances, and then to the mall where I bought some Bath and Body Works, a Yuri on Ice t-shirt (not the one I wanted, but I have to rep the fandom) and some yummy chinese food-- then Owen bought me a slice of white chocolate raspberry truffle cheesecake at the factory-- it was so good!
The next day we woke up and went to see two houses-- one of them was perfect except that it was one full bathroom and one half bathroom; it was even painted in ways that I could see our place being painted, and it had an extra room for a She-Cave as well as a little bookroom. The other house was cute in theory, but it actually wasn't something that I particularly wanted-- the first floor was so amazing, but the second floor was disjointed, and you couldn't get to a bathroom without going through a bedroom (I mean I think that's awkward, I think that there should be one bathroom in a hallway, just so that people aren't going through rooms to get to where they need to take care of their business). There was a pool in that house but while I lived in California before and had a pool, a pool in Kentucky isn't very practical and I don't have the energy to upkeep one.
Next week is Derby so there will be no house hunting, everything in Louisville closes for the Derby, kids are given friday off because of Oaks-- it's a really awesome little tradition but on friday pretty much everything is at a standstill (remember that sequence in My Fair Lady where everyone is watching the horses go past-- yeah, exactly)
I hope y'all are having a great weekend! <3
