So I start my week of 3rd shift tonight and of course I didn't get as much sleep as I would of wanted and I figure that after a twelve hour shift, I will be ready to crash. Java monsters are going to be what is going to get me through the night; that and audiobooks. (I have Gail Carrigier's "Parasol Proctorate" book 2 to get through as well as a Robin Hobb audiobook to start.)

I've had tons of luck playing Asbel (talesofyourmom) in various memes and I've been complimented on my ability to play him. Also I had a Squall compliment me on lightningclock, in an 'i'd hit that' meme, both him and my Lightning were talking about their gunblades. Only Squall and Lightning, definitely.

Last night on the way from work, I played this song OVER AND OVER...

I've had this CD for years but the song came on my ipod and it just sort of hit me as something very beautiful. I don't know what is in my soul wanting to hear it repeatedly, but I'm not going to question it, I will just enjoy it for what it is.

Tomorrow I will work another 12 hour shift (in which you'll probably BARELY see me) and then on thursday I am off the afternoon and evening and then I come in for DAYS! which is the equivilient to bashing my sleep clock into a wall and expecting it to be okay when all is said and done.

I love those random songs you don't hear for years and then suddenly shuffle brings it up and it's like hearing it in a new way all over again. One of the best damn feelings.

Oh yeah! I swear by them. They did get rid of my favorite one though, "Toffee". Oh god, that one was liquid heaven, though Kona Cappuchino isn't too bad either.. and Loca Moca. Omnomnom.

And yes, well that song I never really paid attention to it, and then it was just what I needed at the time.

By the way, didn't get a chance to respond but I did listen to that version of the Crowded House song and it was lovely. It was definitely a stripped down version and I really digged it!

They had toffee flavored??? Yum! I missed out on that. I first tried that regular kona coffee and I hated it! The kona cappuccino, now that's a flavor I could get behind :) yums.
