Okay, I have to admit that Tales of Xillia 2 is definitely darker but also there are certain things that just made me giggle. Like Rideaux. It's like the ultimate personification of a cat and I think I may be a little bit in love with him, I don't know.

Also everyone in Tales of Xillia got cell phones; hijinks ensue. (I pet Leia BLOWS up the phone constantly, with her phone calls to everyone).

Oh man, I can't wait to see Gaius. Also Rideaux, I know that is a spoiler so I'll just get to it when I get to it. Aww.. but he's just so catty, it's quite beautiful really.

And Ivar's shades are very sharp!

Both this and the first game haven't been terribly subtle with their death-flags. I still remember meeting Cline the first time 'oh wow, he's handsome and seems awesome and that's one heckuva deathflag he's flying, dammit...' and sure enough... *sighs* So I don't have any idea what's going to happen to Rideaux, just that from that first meeting, he's pinged as 'don't get too attached'...

I adore Ludger more than I expected and he's half putting a twist in all my first-game shipping and half-complimenting it (though honestly, I'm pretty much everyone/everyone at this point, because Xillia).

Yeah, it's easy to ship everyone in this game. I've already seen signs of Ludger/Everyone. -_- Not that I'm complaining in all honesty!

And yes, Cline.. I was trying to figure out when he was going to bite it.

I've spent a year staring at the art on Pixiv going 'who is this Ludger guy and why do I want a thousand pictures of him making out with Jude' and now it's just 'oh, wow, yeah' and sort of waiting for them to make out on screen.
