Well that was the most hectic year I've ever had.

I know that I have disappeared off the face of the planet but honestly, it's been rough. I've been a Supervisor, I've been fired from said Supervisor position, I've read tons of books and otherwise really just concentrated on myself and having a life outside of the internet. But I decided to come back because I just have been compelled, it's funny how that happens.

So anyways, hi everyone! How is everyone's life going?

i was actually wondering where you went the other day; funny how that works out!

but i understand the me time thing, i joined a dojo a few years back and have become increasingly responsible there myself and it's more fun than sitting at home so i spend half my week there. i chopped most of my hair off and help teach the kids karate, sub the adult sword class as needed, and started doing chinese lion dance/drumming for money. it's wound up being so fulfilling so spending time finding yourself is definitely worth it.

You know, I think that it's a good thing to be responsible, but you need to maintain that link to a healthy fantasy life, it's just I think that if there's one thing that my ex-girlfriend taught me, it was probably how to be a responsible adult! I'm so glad that the dojo work is working out for you, I know how much you loved it and I think it's something that suits you!

IT's alright, it wasn't me so much as that when I got the supervisor position.. there came a restructuring and we got a new shift manager who immediately decided that he disliked me.. so it wasn't that I was a bad supervisor, it was just that he was a sexist prick.

Hello, it's great to hear from you again! :D

I can understand that in a way: I've been devoting a lot more energy to just "me" time after a whole lot of things had happened really very quickly together in succession in my life a few months ago too...though I've been getting back to the internet a bit more as things have settled down in those areas and I've been feeling more up for it. :) Sometimes you just need a break to focus on personal things, you know? :)

They are actually! I mean, I think everything is finally starting to stabilize out again, I really just remember that I need to focus on creativity and I feel that the only time I'm really creative or have a chance to write is when I'm online. Heh.

Nothing exciting going on in my world. Work is work. Dating is a hot mess. I got a cat a couple months ago who is more dog than my dog is.

I hear you! I got two cats.. L.I.T.A and D.I.T.A and they are little cuddlebutts. I swear, they are the sweetest things. And I agree with dating, oh gods.. let me tell you, I've dated on and off ever since the grossness that was Stalcup. But I haven't really clicked with anyone that I've gone out, so it's alone for now.
