In anime; when anyone utters the word 'gokigenyo", my mind immediately draws back to Maria-sama Ga Miteru and all of the catholic schoolgirls that wander around and walk among the lilies and generally be sweet.

So when Sir Mephistos Pheles from Blue Exorcist says it, I have to chuckle because with him being the son of Satan, it really just falls under blasphemtic irony.

Well I mean considering Sir Mephistos Pheles is the type of character that is very showy and flamboyant, it really doesn't surprise me. He wears all pink and he has a giant top hat. Just very.. dramatic. But still amusing to say the least!
