22/4/18 16:11It's funny how iconing goes-- I make a really good icon, all the elements come together, and then the next icon-- TRASH!
I tried making a "Pride and Prejudice" Icon, the 1995 version with Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth, and every single incarnation of the icon is sucking seriously. Maybe it is the natura 90s lightning of the screen capture, too much yellows (It's so hard to correct the yellow in a picture), so I look at it and I'm like "Aww, Elizabeth Bennet's face is so cute in this picture, and Darcy looks so smouldering" but it really doesn't translate appropriately. Alas, maybe one day I'll make a good Darcy/Elizabeth icon--
I have to go back to work tomorrow; not looking forward to it because I have this sneaking suspicion that "Paris" will not be there, she said she would but she has a dentist appointment. And I never like covering Cage and Vault because I do not feel comfortable with it. I've got LTL down, but Cage and Vault-- it's so serious; mistakes in the cage and vault are a big deal because that's where all the DRUGS are, Opiates and all that-- and you are not allowed to make mistakes in the cage/vault.
I don't mind shipping out Diabetic medicine and birth control, the street value on that isn't bad, but then you have the major stuff that is worth hundreds and thousands of dollars and I'm in living fear that I am going to mess something up big time.
I guess all I have to do is take a deep breath and go in thinking that perhaps it won't be so bad.
