Same here, not just because I'm biased-- but because Magus had such a dysfunctional childhood-- so terribly, not exactly Flowers in the Attic levels of dysfunction, but pretty close-- and that has to shape someone, and it did. It made him so single focused, like everyone says that Magus is too intense. He is, but you try being any sort of chill with what he had to deal with the after effects of, and the thing is that he wasn't even really a participant, he got sucked to a different time (and I suppose that is a good thing, when you think of it) because he decided to check on his sister. My heart goes out to him every single time. He didn't seek to be worshiped by the Monsters, that was quite by accident.
