Icon: Miku Hatsune
"And you sway in the moon
the way you did when you were younger..
And we told everybody 'all you need is now"
This is another icon that happened just by accident. And strangely enough, it is the icons that I don't even think about that come out looking the best. The colouring to the picture was already something that I couldn't improve, however it was a texture that I had, it was almost pixilated bubbles that made me think of something very futuristic, considering that Miku is pretty much a musical construct. It is also one of the few icons that don't have the red splotch of death(tm). So I'd look at it and go, "That doesn't look like my typical icon. (seriously guys, if you are looking at my icons-- just try to find the red dot, I have a cat like obsession with the red splotch.) But the way I angled the dots to look like they were coming out of her hair, that perhaps was the part that I am the most satisfied. The song is also very danceable and in some way reminds me of Miku, of her optimistic energy.
Miku is everything, Miku is life.
This song comes from Duran Duran's album of the same title "All You Need is Now"-- and probably one of my favorite albums of theirs, along with "Astronaut" and "Red Carpet Massacre."
Really not much to say about this icon, maybe I just wanted to share some wicked tunes!

15/6/18 03:08 (UTC)It's why I didn't post to the "Ask the Maker" thread, because half the time I don't even know how I do it aside from "Well this looked good on this, and then I tried this", I guess I am the haphazard iconist or something-- the swedish chef of icon making, yeah that's probably it.
I always admire people how they can just LOGICALLY go back and say how they made a icon in explicit detail, hell-- I can't even remember what I ate for dinner the night before lol
